When I was 13-14 we went to florida on a family trip. My mom and younger siblings wanted to go shopping, and dad and I went together to walk around Miami I think I dont remember. What I remember though is that dad decided to go into this cuban cafe run by this old women and a really happy server guy. Dad just said he wanted 'coffee' and I said I wanted 'that', pointing at an empty small cup. The guy brings my dad's coffee and then gives me my small cup. I look up at my dad's cup then look at mine and then I asked the guy to give me a cup like my dads. So this guy, gives me a large cup of espresso eventhough I never really had coffee in any serious quantity before. I add a whale ton of sugar and start drinking it like I hated myself and this is the punishment because I didnt want one of the few times where its just me out with my dad to be the one time he regrets treating me like an adult. Welllllllll...a lil bit after I swallow the last drop I start feeling like my brain hurt and my stomache started to implode. I ran to the bathroom and started alternating between throwing up and releasing the insides of my stomach in the toilette. As I am turning around I see the look on my dads face because I didnt even close the bathroom door as he looks me. Then I turn around again and start crying while im throwing up which isnt hard, then i turn around and do the number two. Anyway, I waited in the bathroom while dad ran to the store to buy me the worst clothes I ever wore and remember dad giving a lot of money to the lady as I made the walk of shame to go outside. I ended up staying up for two to three days to the point where I started hallucinating but I am not sure if it was because of the coffee or the shame.
