Thats just a perspective you carry in your head and youve accepted it as a reality for you. There are 7 billion people on the planet. There are people like you out there that would be very happy to be your friend because you are a good person.

But its up to you to go out and find that person and accept their friendship. They definitely dont come knockin at the door. And of course people have made friendships online and met in real life eventually. If youre the type that doesnt get out much for instance.

There are many ways to meet people and start long lasting friendships. Its not easy but its definitely doable if thats what you really want in life.

Worst thing anyone can do and is extremely self defeating is blame the rest of the world for their problems. I am 40 now and i have 1...yes O N E friend. I grew up as a kid with too many to count. People moved away and life happened.

Im happy to have that one friend i can count on and hang out with. We fish, bowl, party, take trips...we do many things.

Actually Im quite happier with that one friend than i was when i had many as a kid. So dont stress on having many friends. One good one is all you really need.

Dont accept loneliness if you dont like it. You dont have to. Be open minded and start conversations with strangers whenever you get the chance. You never know where a friendship may come from. Just gotta want it bad enough and stay positive about it. I know thats kinda cliche but its true.

If it takes 5 years it takes 5 years. 10? Then 10 it is...Just dont ever give up. Thats whats important.
