i hate to sound 90, but basic reading comprehension. i constantly see people arguing online and they're not even talking about the same shit. hard to explain exactly what i mean, so here's an example using an argument i saw recently after a customer left a review for a bakery:

customer: "everything tasted the same, like it was all made from the same croissant dough and just shaped into different breads. not a true european bakery as it claims to be, and the owner was rude."

owner: "we didn't even have croissants that day, so how can you review something you didn't even eat. don't marginalize me for having an accent. if you don't like the food return it, i'll be waiting."

owner gets a break on this one for english being his second language, but it was a good example of what i mean.
