What do non-native English speakers think of the English language?

What's good about it: relatively simple grammar. Almost no cases and genders (but "balanced" with, how much, 12 tenses?). Wasn't the hardest thing to learn, though I wasn't a good learner so this post likely contains a lot of grammar mistakes.

What's not so good: pronunciation is completely fucked up. Lots of weird sounds and relatively few similarities between a written form and the corresponding spoken one in most cases. Other western European (roman?) languages, like Spanish, seem to be better in that regard. Slavic languages are way less complicated in terms of pronunciation too, with very few exceptions dzień dobry.

Well, that's it.
