Waiting for my ex to take me back. I spent months sitting on my ass waiting/hoping for my ex to take me back, and it was self torture because I never worked on getting over her instead. I idealized her, even tho I knew deep within me that I wasn't actually attracted to her, but the feeling of being alone and left behind made my body just chase her like it was drugs.

Its ok to want your ex back, and its ok to talk to her about it, but if she doesnt give you a straight answer and tells you something like "There might still be a door open for us, but i cant tell for sure" move on. If she ever finds out that she wants to try again GREAT, if not you are already moving on, and maybe your even over her.
