What petty thing that happened to you in the past still ticks you off now?

When my 9th grade history teacher really tried to tell me that we don’t know what race the ancient Egyptians were but we know they definitely weren’t black, but were “olive skinned”, then proceeded to point to a picture of hieroglyphs of people that very well fit the description of being “black”, w black people hairstyles and features...

That’s when I knew something was off and history has definitely been white washed. Now all of sudden when you’re brown and African, but you’d have to be recognized for such great contributions to society, your not black?...but the very same person would be working the slave field, being called the N word, profiled by cops, and treated like shit in racist America?

It’s like If shit actually went down the way Europeans rewrote history, black people should only come in a shade of dark DARK brown, and any black person in a lighter shade is mixed, and that’s completely absurd. But then if you think about it there was no “black people” or “white people” before America...so I guess it make sense
