What was a remembering experience in a different country that you are willing to share with Reddit?

I haven't been to many countries but I went to Barcelona when I was a kid and there's like this cathedral there that was fucking amazing.

My mum gave me two disposable cameras and the only decent photos on them was pictures of the cathedral, the rest were like pictures of sand and blurry photos.

We also met this German family whilst we were there and I literally spent the whole week playing football with them and one night we had a massive pillow fight in the hotel with a bunch of random kids and the hotel called the police on us.

I'd love to meet that family again and see where they are now. It was the first time I'd ever met anyone from a different country and it was awesome. It was also my first time abroad and I can still smell that air.
