A bit late to the game, but when I was admitted to the psych ward at the hospital for a suicide attempt I had to sleep over night in a stabilization room with a couple of very erratic patients. Anyways, the psychologists wakes me up very early to go through some questions - she asks me about college and I mention I’m studying psychology (ironic lol). She suddenly gets a serious look on her face and says “no one is going to hire you without at least a masters in psychology - you need to start preparing for graduate school, you need to get on top of that now” like ma’am…I tried to kill myself less than 24 hours ago, my future is the last thing on my mind and it’s weird you feel the need to add more stress to my life
