Undoubtedly. Many people argue that it can't be treated with therapy, that it's like being gay/straight/bi/trans and that you are born that way. However, if this were the case, HOW would you handle and treat pedophiles who literally cannot change?

If we don’t discuss ways to handle and treat it, it will only worsen.

I think castration is a great way to handle and treat it, if it's true that it's not "treatable" otherwise.

However, I don't subscribe to that belief, because it IS a belief and not a fact. I think pedos are NOT born that way, and that they can be made through careful therapy to no longer have that mental disorder. If they can be rehabilitated, we don't need to castrate them.

But something has to be done, because the threat that an untreated pedophile poses to society is far too large to allow us to ignore it.
