What screams, "I'm insecure"?

Much better than acting a certain way to prove to other people that you own a pair of testicles.

You're still not getting it. Everyone knows whether or not you're a man. There is no escape from maleness. A drink with a pink umbrella doesn't excuse you from being perceived as a male in society.

Like your masculinity is contingent on external validation. Like if a light breeze of femininity blew past, suddenly you would be a woman -- and thus, apparently, have no value.

There is really no such thing as "masculinity." Maleness is forced upon us, and all men are "masculine" by definition. You seem to have it backwards. Women have value, men do not. Men are the warrior and labor class. Our bodies have been poisoned with testosterone, which makes us inherently strong and violent, and we are disposable. The problem with a "feminine" male is that he is fundamentally misunderstanding his role in society. He looks like a fool, because all of us would like to be women if we could be. But that's not possible. We're men. But most of us are smart enough to understand that.
