What situations have you encountered that make you think "thank fuck I'm a homo"?

If you think monogamy is somehow better than other relationship constructs, why even bother being queer? The entire movement was founded upon challenging traditional relationship norms so if you can't share the space with other orientations maybe you're the one with the problem here. Monogamy isn't for everyone. If it's for you that's great, but not any more great than non-monogamy is for other people.

Next, if you wanna talk body shaming maybe go talk to a woman for once and listen to her stories about it. The stories I've heard from women (or seen first hand) are atrocious. Guys dumping their girlfriends for "getting fat". Picking apart their partner's physical insecurities in order to control her better. Gay culture might have a somewhat unhealthy fixation on the gym, and maybe I just pick my friends well, but I've never seen shit like that go down among gay men.

Lastly, who the hell cares about drug use these days. Why should anyone care about what someone chooses to do with their own body and time (excluding exploitative drugs like cocaine). If they're not abusing it or pushing it on you then leave them be.

What're you going to try and strike the fear of god into us next? You better save your saltiness for all those tears you're going to be shedding when you find yourself 45 years old locked into an unhappy marriage with a guy you haven't slept with in months, a secret affair with an escort on the side, and a vicodin habit to numb all the disappointment you feel from realizing your life is simply the gay replication of one of those sad straight couples who don't seem to waste any time before criticizing us for the things they do in secret.
