Do you feel annoyed that when most non-UK people refer to the UK, they really only mean England?

The UK is a confusing place though, I create economic models for many different geographies in the UK and i get confused.

-The UK is a country... -So is England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland -British Isles - UK and Ireland -Britain- just England, Wales and Scotland -Regions- E.g. South West, East Midlands, but also Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland... -not to mention unitary authorities, combined authorities, local enterprise partnerships, ceremonial counties, metropolitan counties, non-metropolitan counties, parishes, wards, constituencies, district authorities (and more).

Seriously this needs to be simplified lol.

But yeah slightly annoying when people say England when they mean UK or vice versa, but honestly I can forgive people who do lol
