What is something that people think is illegal, but actually isn't?

In general don't talk to the police without a lawyer

you are simply not qualified to determine what is something that will be 'of interest'. Once you are seriously involved with any police investigation there are a lot of incentive structures that are aligned against an even handed treatment.

How often at work do toy take the word of a colleague? Just because 'they would know'. I work in governance at a major bank . Multi billion in market cap. My divsio,, tech oratoabuget overr $1B and tbh the rules are what i say they are under $1Mm b/c of any other resewn than that is my job so I ought to know, I'm not a big wig. My salary, considering my industry and city is basically nothing, and my title has no superlatives.

The bank does a pretty good job of insulating us against people who want to steal but if I had an IQ of 78 it would take years for anyone to notice.
