Just finished a first date. Took a week or two on OKC before I finally got fed up with the slow response times and womaned up by offering him my number. Communication becomes better. He's still a slow responder since he's a busy doctor, but I'm okay with it since it's a refreshing change after a few extreme cling ons.

Talked for about a week and then finally got fed up with waiting again and womaned up to ask him on a first date. He suggests the next weekend (today). I spent all day yesterday and today preparing a feast of kimchi jjigae, rice, fish cakes, gimbap, steamed veg, etc... he said his favourite is Korean food so I tried to go full stop. I don't usually invite men into my house the first time but he seems really wholesome and trustworthy, so fuck it. Spent the evening cuddling on the couch watching his favourite show.

I think I fudged the goodbye kiss. :( I think I looked too expectant so I panicked at his momentary pause, took the action as act of obligation, turned it into a cheek kiss. Possibly over analyzed, didn't want to be rapey.

He replied agreeing to meet again after he left so hopefully that means he likes me enough to not turn me down later or ghost me. God, I hate being so shy.
