What is the weirdest/creepiest unexplained thing you've ever encountered?

This is going to be long but bare with me:

Back in July of 2001, my mom was leaving one evening to head to my grandmothers but for some reason, I convinced my brothers that something wasn't right and to get her to stop. We chased her down from our third floor apartment, all the way to the car. I was only 10 at the time, so I wasn't aware of what was happening with her but I just felt something was off, that if she left, it would be the last time I saw her.

Well, she left but did decide to take my older brother James* with her. I remember all night, I sat there, in the living room, watching my three's company reruns and kept telling her boyfriend that something was wrong and she isn't okay but who is going to listen to a 10 year old? Her cell phone was off, I couldn't reach my Grandma and my other brother Ken*, was trying to ring family but to no avail.

Finally, I decided to get the phonebook out and call around to hospitals because I KNEW something was wrong, she was hurt or even worse. Well, my intuition was correct. My mother had been in surgery already for a couple of hours. I flipped. We got a ride up to the hospital to see my mom in ICU with her eyes sewn shut, her face re-sewn back on, a tube down her throat, legs were genuinely black and blue & sweating blood from the back of her head that seeped onto the pillow. Come to find out, a family member accidently gave my mother a percocet pills instead of excedrin. My mother always got the worst headaches and would pop them like candy. Anyway, by some miracle, in her delusional-drug induced venture, she dropped my brother off at my grandmas before attempting to head to the Casino. If she didn't he wouldn't of survived the car crash.

She was driving on the interstate when she started hallucinating and remembers seeing a dog (wasn't there obviously) and swerved. It was right under a bridge and the force of her car, plus with her foot on the gas still, she gained speed and bounced back between the median and bridge until her seat belt broke and transferred her to the passenger's seat and through the window. My mom died twice that night, once in front of me and at the scene but was revived both times. How she survived is beyond my comprehension but what I can't explain is what I felt before she left.

I'm sure this will get lost in this post but if you wanna know anything else, just ask! It's a crazy long story, especially after. (My brother helped save her life when she got out her coma from an intruder at the hospital)
