I used to work in tower construction, at the beginning of a new tower there would be a lift going up the outside of the building, but as it neared completion the elevators would be installed inside.

There is a period of time where the elevators would be running but the buttons on each floor wouldn't be set up yet, so someone would have to sit in the elevator and use the panel in there. He'd be called to floors by radio.

Anyway, we used to bug the shit out of they guy by hitting all the buttons right as we'd get out so he'd have to ride to every floor on the way up. This went on for about a week before the elevator installation guys taught him how to reset the elevator.
