Via Google photos.. he had his Apple ID and google photos linked in the phone he left behind with me (he moved overseas for a job and bought a new iphone) His WhatsApp pics gets downloaded to his google photos and I was able to see his chats with this girl and from there it was a messy process to get the truth out. The girl sent screenshots of their chats to him and that’s how the pics ended up there. When asked about the chats, he lied and lied saying it’s old etc. but being the analyst I am I was able to decipher all the proof with just a couple of screenshots and actual time it was downloaded to his phone to grill him into telling the truth.

I still in my stupid mind (because we have a kid) asked for couples counseling which he initially refused and ended up asking me to figure out a therapist who can work with 2 time zones and also claimed to not stop having these affairs in future (emotional one which might as well become physical) and that was it for me, I asked for a divorce.

It’s been very hard but I know I can probably work for the FBI after what I have been through. It was week long with sleepless night sort of investigation and this man was very careful to delete all chats and disconnect other things but was dumb as a cardboard when it came to this sort of backend iPhone technology and he is a software engineer ffs!
