What is the worst job you ever had?

Teacher.

The actual teaching part is stressful but manageable. Honestly, it was the best part of the job (when I could do it) and I always felt at home in front of the class. The fact that administration straight out kept me from doing my job, and somehow still expecting it to get done was something else entirely. Constantly booking meetings during what little planning time I had (I basically worked 'till midnight every night), refusing to give my class assistance with multiple severe special needs students but still expecting them to somehow improve, and then getting in my way when I actually try to help them myself. They even had the nerve to give me more work to "help me," when I asked for more time to get my existing work done. I was coming in every morning more tired than when I left the night before. I seriously have no idea how the field is even allowed to operate the way it does.

I became a teacher because I loved to teach and wanted to make a difference. From the bottom of my heart: Fuck that job.
