My mom was friends with this lady who had a son my age that I became friends with. Id go over his house on the weekends to play twisted metal and tekken 3 and shit and his mom would always make us lunch. Grilled cheeses with horizion WHITE American cheese, Its still probably the grossest meal ive ever had to endure. Also, I was like 6 and being babysat at my babysitters house. She was going to make us spaghetti for dinner and asked me if I wanted gravy or butter, I hated butter on spaghetti and definitely didnt want fucking brown gravy on my spaghetti so I said "neither, thanks". I had never heard someone refer to it as gravy up until then, I guess I just assumed pastas default was tomato sauce, I had never even seen plain pasta until then and I was super dissapointed
