What was the worst physical pain you've ever felt in your life?

It's kind of hilarious from a certain point of view, but it was god awful.

So I went to the dentist to get a filling. This was my first time getting a filling, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but a lot of folk talk about how much they hate going to the dentist and having to get a filling so I'm expecting some pain. So I go in there, yada yada, they get me setup, they give me some shot in the gum and then a few minutes later they get started. So they're drilling into the tooth and I pretty much feel everything. It's god awful. I'm clenching down in my chair HARD, getting some serious pit sweat, sweat is running down my face, eyes darting around, trying my best not to squirm too much, all that jazz because it's so bad. Dentist asks me if I'm okay and I don't want to seem like a wimp so I nod for him to keep going, and he does keep going.

Sometime later after this whole ordeal I'm on the phone with my mother and I told her about this and apparently some people have degrees of resistance to local anesthesia. Thinking about it, reminds me of some sort of autistic scenario you might see on /r/greentext. So, yeah, that was pretty bad.
