What made me fall for you was the strength you had and the kindness you showed me after our first date. It wasn’t put on, it was genuine. I can smell insincerity from a mile away.

And you didn’t have to be. You beat cancer and you were just as beautiful in the picture smiling after chemo as you are now. It was your kindness and generosity that made me fall. You didn’t have to cook for me, but you offered and I will never forget that.

You were the first woman in years that I felt ready to give everything to. I took note of things you liked, took note of your family and things you all did together, literally everything.

The biggest thing I want to say was that night I was acting awkward because I got terribly sick and drove 50 miles from your house to the hospital. For some reason I didn’t want you to know.

And I hoped you would hit me back up after you had to go away for military. But it didn’t happen and I didn’t push it.

You were the sun that finally matched my sun. And I hope you’re happy doing whatever it is you’re doing.
