Went to college with CJ. I met him once or twice in the fall before the Duke game; for some reason he really loved my overweight friend so we ended up at a party or two with them and would say what up as we walked by and saw them outside. To this day, it still baffles us why the two really hit it off. Anyways, CJ was really cool and just sort of chilled most of the time. He was incredibly relaxed, yet confident and personable. Didn't need to be loud because his presence alone spoke volumes. I didn't try and engage him too much because he and I weren't going to be friends and I realized that. He was cool; his teammates were some of the best people I met at Lehigh. I ran into him the year after the Duke game at a sorority date party. I think he had something going on with his girl because he just wasn't the same dude I remembered from only 12 months ago. It was either issues with his girl, or the Duke game really went to his head and he was big timing the shit out of me. The funny thing was I wasn't even trying to talk to him; I was drunk as fuck and saw a full thing of chips and guac at the coffee table in front of him (it was communal, not his). I just looked up and said, "oh what's up CJ-I'm boys with (overweight friend)." And he just said, "yeah yeah yeah." I was like, alright, dude doesn't want to talk to anybody, I'll just take a few more chips and leave.
