I believe the story. Obviously nothing is 100% accurate but to me the story answers several questions I've had. Everyone knows the Annunaki from the Sumerians but there is another civilization from approx 22,000 years ago called the Aratta. They also have stone carving art and other artifacts which mention the Annunaki as well.

I really thought hard about this theory but what made me believe in it is the fact that this civilization, which as far as we know invented writing, decided to tell a story where they say they were created to be slaves. Why on Earth would anyone make that up? Fucking worthless, disposable slaves. Not much of a legacy for your ancestors. That plus many other things that I'll leave out for the sake of brevity makes me think the Annunaki are absolutely plausible.
