throwaway cuz my family knows my real account... I had the worst experience with an online dating app. I used a friends photo who looked like me just because i didn't want me photo out there. he's was okay with it. Anyways I message this chick who happens to be of the same ethnicity and we get to talking. It seems cool at first so I get her number and text her. Things got weird there where she kept asking for weed. I don't smoke. And these texts came at 2am. But being an idiot I continued the conversation with her for a while and all the time she'd tell me to either bring her weed, pick her up, or something crazy along those lines. I should have known this was going to be bad but against all signs I kept asking her to get dinner with me. She stated she would take the train after work and meet me at a common location but I had to drive her back. I said okay.
We meet up at a bank (i figured if I got stabbed there would be cameras lol) at 6pm. She looks nothing like her photo in a negative way. Neither am I which I guess made her freak out and ask if this is a prank. I'm said "no I'm sorry for lying to you". Then she starts getting super paranoid and screaming that she's calling the cops. I get super freaked out. I said "I'm sorry I'll leave". Remind you, we are in the biggest city in America in one of the most central locations with heavy police presence and foot traffic. The bank security guard is looking at her screaming. She then says "no I have to drive her." I said "no I am leaving. Take the train back". She then starts screaming and dialing the cops. I said okay fine "I'll put you in a cab". So I get a cab and ask the driver how much it is to her house. He says $50. I said "%$^ it" and gave him the cash and told him to get her home. But she wont get into the cab. I said why won't you get in. She said "because you promised me dinner". I said "listen I'm leaving now". She starts screaming again, making a scene and calling the cops. People have stopped walking to look at me and her. I calmed her down and said the only thing around here is a McDonalds. She said that's fine. I asked her "What do you want?" She orders a cheeseburger, fries, nuggets, and coke. I said how bought just a burger or nuggets since it'll be a while for the fries. She said no I want the fries too. So I had to wait 15 mins for the fries to get ready. So I get her food and put her in a cab. Finally she says this is why I don't trust strangers. The cab leaves. I'm out $60. Take a long walk home tasting freedom. And I'll never try online dating again.
TLDR: Wanted to cure loneliness. Met a crazy chick. She robbed me for a cab ride and McDonalds. They don't want you to be happy.
