I was just about to write a comment in another thread about how I have a personal connection to several conspiracy theories. The thread in question was about whether nuclear bombs actually ever existed.

Here are my few stories of personal connection to conspiracy theories. I know I'm just a guy online and I could be making this stuff up, but you can take my word, for what that's worth, that this is all truthful.

My cousin worked on the ninety-somethingth floor of the second tower to get hit on 9/11. That day, or perhaps the day after, he sent a long email to everybody in the family since he knew everybody would be asking him questions about it. Like I said, he worked towards the top of the building. When the plane hit the first building, the management of his company told all of the employees to remain where they were. My cousin and a few of his coworkers disobeyed their orders and escaped the building as fast as they could. They were only a handful of floors below the impact point when the plane hit their building. Most of his coworkers died that day.

Regarding nuclear bombs being made up, one of my best friend's grandfather was at Bikini Atoll and witnessed the explosions. Perhaps they were not nuclear but something else, but the explosions definitely did occur, according to his account, as well as others. He is an ordinary man who lived in ordinary life after his years of service.

Another one of my friends was friends with the merch guy who was killed at the Bataclan. He was a real guy who did merch for other well known bands as well. He was well liked within his circle of friends, most of whom were members of touring bands, or crew related to the bands. This does not serve as proof that his death wasn't faked or something, but he was apparently just a normal merch guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
