This thread makes me feel so much better, just diagnosed with bipolar 1 after a manic episode that had me believing all the classics like I was Jesus reincarnated, pregnant with a magical baby that was going to save the world despite 11 negative pregnancy tests and an ultrasound. Things got really bad after I visited a psychic and he told me I was a ‘level 8’ and also had psychic abilities but it was really important for me to stay physical and then I believed I had the power to undo all the atoms in the world and make everything disappear into thin air. I didn’t sleep for weeks because I had to constantly concentrate on holding the world together with my mind. 10/10 would not recommend seeing a psychic when manic hahahahhaa. I also believed I could speak with animals after I let a mosquito bite me (like a Spider-Man kind of deal) and my cats told me that they were the reincarnation of the Guinea pigs I had when I was 6 and that spirits could ‘animal hop’ and that’s how souls looked over you after they passed and I could speak with these souls and posted SO much on social media about my ‘special abilities’ and now am too embarrassed to leave my house. Please tell me the shame and humiliation goes away?
