What's a dead giveaway that someone has come from poverty?

The community i grew up in was generally an ass. The school tried to label me a psychopath for not wanting to do group assignments with my bullies. The government tried to force me to choose between an abusive mother and a foster care at an age of <10, instead of letting me live with a divorced single father. My classmates were just plain assholes that took pleasure on picking on me both in and out of school. School tried to pin vandalism on me, teachers constantly tried to fail me and only reason i finished with A's was because i always took it up with the principal for discussion (the principle was sensible guy, the vice-principle and her tribe of harpies were not). The local store clerks tried to claim insurance for missing stock by blaming it on me (pre-cameras) - i kid you not, in the interrogation room his only proof was 'We all know he is a bad apple, must of been him, who else?'. Even my own father started doubting me. Moment i got out of that petty hamlet i broke all contact with them. I recently had one of the teachers reach out to me after seeing a news article about me asking if '... Could you give our school students a motivational speech how you transformed from a delinquent ...' - I just replied with 'The only delinquency in that school was utter misconduct by the school psychologist and the entirety of all teachers involved. If you wish to give your students a school trip to see how a functioning school works or how to get out of an echo chamber of a community, feel free to contact me and i will make the necessary arrangements.'. I was keen on flashing degrees at her and finally overrule all the nonsense she was spewing whilst teaching me, but that's just not classy.
