This happened during xmas. I use to work in a retail store and a lady asked where the bikes were. I showed her to the sporting section. She then asks where are your helmets. As it was xmas we were a bit low on stock and informed her all we had were elbow and knee pads and helmets that for kids. She then says:

C: "well, I would think (store name) would have safety as a priority"

Me: "I'm pretty sure (different store) will sell the helmet size you're after".

C: "they're too expensive!" (Her voice is rising)

M: "if safety is your priority then price shouldn't matter"

I then walked away. But why is it always middle aged white women that make life hell for retail workers, ugh!
