What's the most fireable thing someone has done but they kept the job?

You're joking, right? I'm going to assume that you're not a complete sociopath and that you're joking. You'd have to be a sociopath to just want to "move on" after something like 9/11...although cognitive dissonance does explain how you feel about 9/11.

But, it is still an important event, and not ancient history. Thousands of innocent people died in front of our eyes, and there has been an sea-change in the way the world thinks ever since. Our countries have been reshaped, our police forces have become a domestic military force and there is an ongoing war because of 9/11...that has already killed over a million people, and now created an refugee crisis of global scale. Your brothers and sisters are overseas right now, fighting away from their families because of what happened on 9/11. It's amazing to think that 90% of Afghani men have no idea what 9/11 is. I know people who have died...good people...because of 9/11. Moving on...sure, it's important to move on, but it's also important to show some respect and demand the truth.

The world has definitely moved on, but it's a post-9/11 world, and nobody can deny that. I understand you have a short attention span and you just want to be a shiny happy person, but some of us still think that treason is always treason...and murder is always murder.

It does matter if the official story ends up being something different than we've been told...and even the lapses NORAD documented show fireable offenses, by people who were promoted for their actions on 9/11. Like I said before...cognitive dissonance is understandable, but it's still cognitive dissonance.

Eventually the truth will find a way, even if you couldn't care less.
