I used to barely try ever in school. I was like an untreated ADD poster child. I went to college and continued not to try (or even attend class). This caused me to fail out.

After taking a break I was about to go back and try school again.. I come around the corner as my aunt and mom are talking and my aunt says 'I think he has a learning disability' and my mom agrees.

That moment was the turning point for my entire life. I thought everyone knew I was smart as fuck and just didn't pay attention. From that moment forward I vowed to get straight A's, and I did and it was kinda easy. Now no one thinks I'm learning disabled. So yeah, I did it out of petty spite :/
