I was 22, and was drinking with two of my best friends in a house that one was house sitting at, pre-gaming for going out later. These two individuals were dating each other since I had introduced them about a year and a half prior. Night is going great, everyone is having a good time. I leave the room to use the bathroom...
When I got back, my male friend, we'll call him M, had taken off his shirt. No big deal, it was the dead of summer. The female, we'll call her D, had also removed her shirt but left her bra on. She suggested that I take my shirt off too. This was quite an odd situation but I did as she asked. We kept watching TV, talking, and fairly heavily drinking. I go out for a smoke an hour or so later.
When I return I ask who wants shots from the kitchen, both say yes so I pour out three shots. When I'm done I yell down the hall to come and get them, both M and D are now in their underwear. I said something like " umm... OK. Do you two want me to jet after the shots?", and both tell me to stay.
D suggested that I got more comfortable and I told her I was fine, then suggested another shot. After the shot we started going back down the hall to the TV room, but D swings a left into the master bedroom, I walk past it, and M grabs my hand and leads me into the bedroom.
D tells me to get naked, M is laughing and patting me in the back. I said "I have to use the bathroom first". I got out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. Time to plot my escape! I was too drunk to drive, and this was well before smart phones, and even before text messaging had caught on. I decided the best plan was to run home, which was about 3 miles.
I got out of the bathroom, made my way to the kitchen, threw several beers into a plastic bag and ran out the door, down the street, and onto a main street of the town I was in. I kept running and about half way home my brother happened to be driving by and he saw me, stopped, and I hopped in the car.
M and I talked about it the next day and he said he told me that D (it was her idea) was confident I'd be OK with a three way, but that he should have made sure first. D and I never spoke of it.
