What's something you shouldn't give to a homeless person?

I'm sure this will get buried but I donate time at a center that gives food to the very poor (homeless too obviously) and basically every time I'm in the office I end up going home with a gallon or two of like fairly premium ice cream.

Like they DO give some of it away to the people who need it but most of these people are walking miles pretty long distances to get there... so even if they DO have a working freezer (by no means a guarantee) they're gonna pass it by.

Big can of baked beans with the pull top lid? THOSE they couldn't keep on the shelves for a couple hours. (Or TP, Socks, toiletries, those dinty moore/kraft meal things that are basically an MRE, ...)
