What's something that's considered normal that creeps you out immediately?

God, I hate those.

Last year we had a two-day seminar that involved us having to wake up at 5 to get on a bus, and a sort of "self-care session" about how to better deal with stress. That was because we'd had given a bunch of anonymous reports about being stressed-out due to bad management and lack of communication, so management decided that clearly it couldn't be their fault, it was our fault for not being able to deal with stress well enough.

On top of being massively insulting the session was run by a complete quack that just fired a bunch of clichés at us for a couple hours and it involved some exercices where you'd have to partner up with someone and tell them about things that stress you out. Fuck that. I have pretty bad anxiety issues and this was a nightmare scenario for me. Plus I'd only been on the team a couple months so I definitely wasn't comfortable telling anyone anything like that.

The whole experience stressed me out so much I barely worked the next day and I remember telling my therapist about it the week after that and she was furious. The whole thing was tailor-made to trigger some PTSD in people.
