Here’s one I thought of: I was travelling in a foreign country where practically none spoke English. I got on a bus to visit a tourist spot but because the road was especially dangerous, the bus driver opted out of going, so they dumped me and another tourist in a small village. I had absolutely no idea where I was or how I was either going to back to my hotel or see the tourist spot. Along comes a bus ( huge private tour bus) of Quebecers through town. I can’t remember why they stopped, maybe because we flagged them down. I’d met them prior to departure. They refused to let me on because they knew I was Canadian and could understand spoken French but wasn’t good at communicating ( it’s a Quebecois vs Ontario thing). They were going to leave stranded there and give no fucks. It was amazing.
