What's your experience with the menstrual cup?

Life changer.

I first got the smallest DivaCup. It caused me pain. Finally figured out the suction was too much and the cup was too long. Also now I know that the DivaCup directions to insert were horrible for me. I had such a hard time inserting it following their directions. I then switched to the small Lunette cup and had issues from trying to follow the directions that were in the DivaCup. I didn't experience any pain from it but I couldn't keep a suction. I had a hard time keeping the cup open. I then decided to buy the Luna cup since I was doing a lot of yoga. I thought my grip was causing the Lunette to collapse so often. The Luna cup's description mentioned how good it was for active women. Well I opened the directions for the Luna cup and it said something simple like hold, insert, and let it pop open. And my jaw dropped. So I do that now and I do a bit of a tug to see if there is a suction. Done. I tried this simple technique, with no twisting and turning like DivaCup said, with the Lunette cup. Now I love my Lunette cup. It fits perfectly. I have not used the Luna one yet though. I figured after the Lunette goes bad or something I will use it. I also tried the DivaCup again with the simple directions and it was too stiff and too long for me. I'm also a bit upset they made the experience more difficult for me than it needed to be. I had almost given up on menstrual cups.

I also really enjoy not feeling it all day and only needing to change it a minimum of 2 times a day. Easy. I don't hate the period process anymore. I don't dread it. Amazing. I do put a liner in just in case there is a drop or two in the first 2 days but I haven't leaked since I have learned to insert it easily.
