it's a shame that the owner is such a prick, but on top of that he has hired a female who is even worse than he is (didn't think this was possible). i have to say there rice and beans are the best, although having such shitty attitudes makes coming here not worth it, which is a shame. (the pricing is ridiculous high and you end up paying for a nasty representative on top of them ripping you off in the first place)
my mom had gone there last week and had a really awful experience with a new younger female who now works here. when my mom went to get rice and beans, she had set the spoon down on the mat. she wasn't aware that the spoon needed to go back into the crockpot and the young girl yelled at my mom and said "what are you doing, don't you see you have to put the spoon back in the crockpot", my mom stated that she was sorry and wasn't aware of this since there was no sign that specified the rules of the crockpots. the young girl proceeded being rude and yelled again at my mom stating that she would "cross contaminate by putting the spoon on the mat"?
cross contamination has nothing to do with already cooked items first off and to the owner specifically: "it's ok (not really at all) for you to be a jerk because everyone is use to it, your wife is a lovely person so that makes it better, however hiring an employee that is hebetudinous in general is sad and she has made your company look like a joke".
the employee i am referring to has short bluish white hair and to top off my parents entire experience there, the young lady called my mom a bitch as she was leaving?????? are you insane....today i called in and the girl who answered said "juice bar, place your order", who answers a companies phone like that, i responded with "wow do you really answer the phone like that", she of course hung up on me like the immature little girl she is. i did call back and asked for the females name and the young male who answered said her name is fuck you and hung up on me.
not sure what you as an owner will do, however my suggestion would be to get rid of employees who make you look bad and spitting on all you have built.
2/11/2015 The name of the employee isn't "(F)uck You," it's "Pho Cue" and she's not new, as you assume, she's been working here for 2 years, the last 6 months as Manager. Meaning she's doing her job right, customers like her, and you should ask what's wrong with you and your mom. To everyone else: put things back to where you found them and don't get pissy and defensive when we ask (nicely, the first time) you to do so. This is a business, not a crack house.
