What's your most unpopular music opinion?

you don't disagree with me, you disagree with something you think I'm saying.

It's really funny that you don't see that you're doing the exact same thing. As an example, I never mentioned the efficacy of categorizing anything, but there it was as a strawman for you; to disagree with something you thought I was saying. And then you go and accuse me of ding it haha.

We're the spiderman meme at this point, and both saying "projection". It's pretty humorous.

it would be very inconvenient to your position were you to

It's not a matter of convenience, it's that I don't believe you are conversing entirely in good faith. It's becoming tiresome and not worth my attention to try to help clarify a point of view for somebody who isn't interested in a mutual understanding.

That's why I don't care to pick apart what I consider flaws in your arguments: what's the point in examining competing perspectives if you simply write off disagreement as lack of comprehension? How boring.

Anyway, I will take solace in the fact that I've had a frustrating but humorous conversation with a fellow keyboard warrior apparently. If only we could harness our collective energy into something actually productive!

I really do love how great reddit is for arguing over the most mundane shit. Huzzah!
