When discussing ID and evolution, biogenesis should not be ignored on either side.

I'd give you a super credible explanation, more than I've seen anywhere else. But I think you'd just automatically reject it. But it would take SOOOOO long to write it all down. Plus, even if I explain it to you, there is this endless boundless ocean of ignorance out there about science it just seems futile, and even if I convinced you, it would be only one person - a drop in the ocean of ignorance out there.

I know you're asking about biogenesis, but I have to tie in the fact that about 60% of the US population do not accept the Theory of Evolution. 34% of Americans (110 million) are Young Earth Creationists - no evolution at all, and 25% are Old Earth Creationists (aka "god guided" aka "theistic evolutionists" aka "evolutionary creationist"), where they seemingly accept the Theory of Evolution, but say it's "god guided," which is NOT the same as the Theory of Evolution.

It feels to me, like, what point is it explaining biogenesis, when so many people do not even accept the Theory of Evolution, which is the strongest scientific theory out there? If I took the immense amount of time to explain it, paragraphs and paragraphs, many theists I've talked with would not comment on all of it. They pick out one solitary item - a one sentence post back to me - after I did all the work to present my case, and completely ignore everything else I wrote. Maybe you wouldn't, but it has happened to me time-after-time.

But let me ask this - how much scientific background do you have? How many university level science classes (I'm not talking about "Layman's Overview of Science") do you have? What is your university degree in? What university did you go to - was it a private fundamental christian school, or a public university?
