When you stop playing Counter-Strike Global Offensive

I've been gaming multiplayer games since Quake 1(I would say about 90% MP and 10% SP overall) and I'm really curious if anyone thinks that playing a competitive game, with thousands and thousands of players, online and with anonymous people from all around the world could be anything other than a toxic experience?

I guess you could argue that in a perfect world we would all come along and wish everyone "Good luck"(and mean it in a non sarcastic way) or cheering your opponent for making a good play etc. The reality is that it's impossible in a competitive game to avoid all the negative aspects of beeing anonymous and combine different skill groups and ages. I've tried almost every MMO, FPS and RPG and found that there is always people who will be toxic and if the game is even more competitive with ranks and have a larger playerbase it will naturally have more problems with toxic players.

I have found out that when you play CS:GO(for example) you simply add the friendly players and tag them in your steam friends list with for example "Friendly, 4" were the number is skill based on a 1-5 scale. If that guy is toxic in the next game you play with them simply delete them from your friends list.

If you do this you WILL have a list of maybe 10-30 people very fast that you just has to ask if they wanna play and that way you avoid playing with new people every single time. There are a reason people who is toxic is more likely to solo Q, so why are you not trying to avoid that by adding players you think are nice?

With that beeing said, every community I've been in are toxic to some degree and nothing will change in the near future. :)
