yeah Stuff like this can end up horrobile. I remember I was.. 5 or 6 years old. Me and my mother were at a supermarket. She was like "uhm ok I coming right back do want something?" and we have here in Germany we have a candy called choclate kisses the name back then in the 80s were I grew up were Negerküsse (lit. Negro Kisses). Yeah I know you allready be like oh shit. Because yeah the shit hit the fan, righr behind me in the line were a black man and he was pissed. What I can understand now but back then I didn't understand shit. As I remember that man was an imigrant from afrika and his German wasn't on a narive speaker level and he just understand Negro and he didn't know that candy. I still feel horrobile today because he thought I called him negro and he didn't felt understand because basically the whole supermarket tried to calm him down and tried to explain him that it wasn't meant to hurt him and not to scream at that child. I know I was confused as fuck why that man was angry at me.
