Where are the people on MUA going to get such bad experiences?

I have BRF issues. Combine that with my tone of voice which when I simply say "hi" in what I think is a friendly voice some people take it as "I'm going to kill your first born". So the combination of the two do not help me with strangers in general. Friends and exs (when I was dating them) have said that before they met me and got to know me they thought I was going to be a complete bitch because of how I look.

I typically go to makeup stores/counters without makeup because their makeup removers tend to break me out or give me a rash. Not only that but there have been times where I know I'm wearing a foundation that is "off" and while the SA claim they've removed all of that foundation, they've missed by my jaw or hair line and they're still matching that. So I'm still getting an "off" match.

I have gone to Ulta, Origins, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, and Sephora. Those are the places where I've had the rudest employees. I've been flat out ignored by employees and have had them help other customers, who have arrived after me, before me. It's like a waiting game to see if I'll just leave. I get treated as if I know nothing about makeup and the SAs always ignore me when I state what I'm looking for in my makeup (I'm about a NC20 with olive undertones yet I keep getting matched to NW30-45). I am ignored. As to why I'm not sure. All I can do is speculate.

I have gone into Sephora to get a foundation match and wandered around the store afterwards to play with the testers. I had the employee who "matched" me (it was so off) walk by me and state "Oh you're still here!" in a tone of "Why have you not left yet!?!?! GO AWAY YOU COW".

I seriously feel as if I'm purposely treated poorly by makeup SAs. Out of my hundreds of trips to counters/stores I've had maybe 5 positive experiences. One was a man at MAC doing my makeup (only time in my life I've been correctly matched to a foundation), one was a makeup artist that worked on the side at MAC, and another two were my last two trips to Sephora (two different times; both SAs listened to me when I stated I wanted a yellow undertone to my foundation and actually grabbed a yellow undertoned foundation).

My experiences make me understand why people choose to shop online.
