She has actually said it before, when this whole thing with her started. But “support trans people” is vague. One could “support” them in a multitude of ways, for her she has said she supports people living their lives as they want, etc. not bashing their existence like we see a lot of people do.

She does NOT however support a trans woman being defined as a woman, especially in the confines of safe spaces such as the one she set up. I have no clue how she feels about bathrooms and things like that, but she certainly feels biological women need to have separated spaces from biological men when needed. Furthermore she takes issue with what she sees as the wiping away of the experiences of biological women in this whole trans debate. She takes special umbrage at terms like “people who menstruate” as the definition of a biological woman, to her that’s just a woman.

These are the things I’ve read from her Twitter, I left the platform a while ago so not sure where she is now. As an American some of the issues she’s fought against trans people being a part of I don’t fully understand, they are issues related to the UK.

I think it’s safe to say that she’s fine with trans people existing, and to that extent she supports them. (Which is more than we get from a lot of folks here.). However she disagrees that a trans woman is a woman, both because of biology and not having the background and experience of being born and growing up a woman. As a result, she does NOT support the inclusion of trans women in women only spaces.

So while she doesn’t hate on trans people, I would say it’s a stretch to say she supports them.
