Who was the worst guest that stayed at your house?

One of my best friends since high school had been on heroin for the past ten years. He came to me and my husband and said he and his girl were ready to make the push, they were going to quit cold-turkey. Only issue was they couldn't do it at their spot. They were walking distance from 10 different dealers (west Baltimore.)

I said no prob, come stay with us. I'll get the guest room ready for you. What kinda food will you need? Etc. I washing all kinds of bedding, buy all kinds of drinks and food that I was hoping they'd be able to choke down, I even bought a bulk size thing of Imodium.

Their first couple of days here, I was making sure they were ok but there was zero gratitude. I didn't take offense. They were going through something rough and I wanted them to fucking make it. After my friend drank all the beef in my fridge (11 bottles of yuengling) he went and rifled through my basement and drank 2 more cases all to himself... Didn't ask for one. I have pot for period that I keep. He was sending me texts demanding that I give him weed every 4 hours. They then went swimming in the bay and left their soaking wet clothes all down the hallway and in my bathroom.

On day 3 they left without saying goodbye. They couldn't hack cold turkey and went to score. Ok, whatever. I tried to help. What really fucking irritated me was that they TOOK THE TOWELS, SHEETS, AND BED LINEN THAT I HAD PUT IN THEIR ROOM!! Who does that??

I've loaned this dude more than 1500 in the past 5 years to get him out of various jams (Tray2daC, as it turns out- moving to Florida and becoming a meth addict instead of a heroin addict was a shitty idea.., please loan me money for a bus ticket) and have offered my home to him.

Now the only help I give is emotional support.
