YTA. I also know a couple of people who have found success in mainstream bands, and have found that they literally get almost no say in their touring schedules. I've known guys who had to tour right up to their wives / girlfriends being exactly 9 months pregnant, and only flew back home when the labor started. I know a guy who had to postpone his own wedding twice because of scheduling conflicts / touring (and they ended up eloping because it was just easier). You'd think the bigger the band, the more say they get, but it actually tends to be the opposite.

The wedding is a huge day in your life, not his. He tried to be there, and it ended up not being possible. Shit happens. I will say he sucks like, 5% because he knew the tour dates before they were announced and you had to find out on your own that your wedding date was one of them, but it also wouldn't surprise me if he was only hesitant to tell you because he wanted to put off your reaction to the news (which was poor).
