Will there eventually be a middle ground between the old and new ignites/poison?

As a whole there are several systems within GGG that don't have a clear focus. So they flip flop between the two ideologies on how to run literally everything.

Examples:

  • AoE
  • Fine Tune Balance
  • Ailments
  • Charges
  • Defenses
  • Ect.

I theorize that like GGG has invested in a QoL development team whose sole job is to improve the game graphically while lowering strain on client/end users they will also be investing in a heavy hitting balance team at some point.

You go through my post history and you'll see that in the past I defend GGG on a lot of things, and I think their choices here were done well with the skillset they have. But they need some experts that make it their life to bring a balance to the see saw we know as balance.

If not the game should still continue to grow, it just may stagnate longer and longer the more leagues we go with the current balancing decisions.
