I thought this was a civil defamation suit and not a criminal one.

All I see here is somebody filing for a restraining order against their spouse, filing for a divorce, settling the divorce by signing a legal binding document attesting that neither party lied or made faculae allegations, then years later writing a bunch of politically correct stuff about their experience as an ambassador for a nonprofit organisation that helps victims of abuse by drawing opinions based on their own life, and the other party getting pissed about it for whatever reason.

Not to mention people regressing at the mental age of twelve where they get amused about stories about faeces and faecal puns.
