I had to drive from Sarasota Fla to Saint Petersburg and it was a beautiful ride over bridges and bays plus an open view of the Gulf Of Mexico. I would drive over the Skyway bridge. Used 450 air conditioning, wore my surfing baggies tee shirt no shoes. Would take a girl for a drive to go eat breakfast. I didn't tell her there be a stop. Methadone was not in the common lexicon when this took place. If they New about methadone it was only for ex cons, bikers, real hard core dope fiends and possibly American Rick stars. I lived on this beach of hotels and condos so the I would meet girls on vacation. . I brought this girl inside the clinic and it was a Sunday so there was no one there. Operation Par was a real small clinic then seemed like less than 100 people being served max. This pretty red head was decifering a poster on a real (it was there because someone who was acting out punched a hole in it) she was finding deep hidden meaning in the words. That was so cute hoping that would heal me . loved that ride home on a breezy 7am in June. Something about girls being attracted to bad boys..
