Personally, from what I’ve read and seen, I think Amber Heard is an enemy of women and abuse victims.

Johnny Depp isn’t a perfect man. It sounds like they had a volatile relationship. That said, when you have someone who aligns themselves with the “Me Too” movement (in my opinion) falsely, they’re damaging the credibility of other women.

Regardless of this trial, men can absolutely be victims. Women can be abusers. The lack of support for men, being shelters, assistance and general negative societal views on men who are abused is a problem.

I hope what comes out of this trial is a better awareness towards male victims. I hope this opens up a dialogue about abuse and what it looks like.

There’s been a lot of vitriol and click bait surrounding this trial. It’s gross. I hope people move forward with compassion.
