My thinking on this has slowly evolved over the course of the last few weeks. These numbers are reported by The State of Florida, and not "The Media." About a month ago I noticed that the cases were going up, but the deaths were going down. BUT... there is a small note in the section that records and reports Covid-19 related deaths. The deaths don't show up in the charts until a medical examiner confirms them. There is a lag. You can watch the number of deaths for any given date slowly rise over time, so that section of the chart changes on a daily basis. Take a look at that chart... look at the deaths reported by date... look at it again tomorrow and the next day... The daily rate of deaths is trending upward and accelerating.

Have you talked to anyone who works in the Health Care sector? We spoke with a friend yesterday who works in the largest hospital in our area. He told us that there are entire floors in the hospital that were empty a month ago, and are filled to capacity with Covid-19 patients today. Sure... they've got room for more... but the number of patients admitted to the hospital because of this virus are growing exponentially.

I agree with you regards media fearmongering... But you can't deny cold hard facts. WHY put yourself in harms way if you can avoid it?
