[WP]You are the captain of an intergalactic spaceship, with a crew over 1000 people. Upon waking up from stasis, your logs are telling you someone has been awake for almost 10 years, and you don't know why.

I was the first to awaken from stasis, as by the Federation's protocol. It's a little rough...it feels a bit like having your worst hangover of all time, you know the usual headache, dizziness, sleepiness, the feeling of confusion and being extremely thirsty, at least for the first twenty-five seconds of waking up. Now, after all of that has passed I walked over to my desk and booted up the operating system. I checked the ship's status as well as the crew's life signs... everything seems to be nominal. As I started to walk over to my First officer from the stasis pod the terminal started to beep. I ran over quickly and saw that there was an unauthorized life form detected in the ship. I speak to the terminal: "Scan the lifeform" the computer returned with "Human, Female, 19" Hmm...19 years old? I don't recall any of our crew and/or passengers were that young and as a matter of fact, the terminal says right here that all the crew and passengers are still intact snugly in their pods, all 316 of them. So, a stowaway? Can't be, the ship would've picked it up during the departure procedures. "Computer, how long has she been on this ship?" "About 10 years, Captain." 10 years?.... let's see, this colonizing vessel left 50 years ago, and we closely passed inhabited systems almost 10 years ago. She must've beamed aboard...and after a quick check on the sensors it would seem that this was the case, I just find it odd that she's alone."Hmm...get me a live feed wherever she is" The display goes to the ship's mess hall, slowly zooming in on a young woman, pale-skinned with long and messy black hair, happily eating cereal. She also seemed to be dressed in the ship's crew uniform. I decided to call her on her communicator which is embedded on the crew's uniform. "Hello" I said in a soft timbre. "Why are you on board my ship?"
